Reconstruction

Reconstruction was from 1865-1877. This involved rebuilding the south, unifying the nation, and setting new laws.
Many things occured in this era. Assassinations happened, terrorist groups were formed, and slaves were set free.

But through it all, America rose up and got back up on its feet
